Located twenty minutes away from our Villa, this natural lake is one of Sri Lanka’s largest and most scenic, with a lush, verdant landscape. Rich in biodiversity the lake is home to a multitude of bird species and mangrove forests. The Koggala lake has many islands to which you can travel by boat, these include Temple Island, Cinnamon island and Madol Duwa (famous in Sri Lankan literature).
