Tips from locals
Just a short drive out of the Village. Owners are local and grew up with my sons now have a few kinds of beers and a cute bar built in a bar.
This is a local brewery that’s not only interesting to visit but they also brew great beer, not to mention they grow all their own barley and hops.
Over 200 years of farming heritage has turned this brewery into a thriving and delicious destination. Enjoy the rustic but stunning barn while you sip on one of their brews. Ivan and Daniel MacKinnon are 8th generation farmers who have turned their family farm into a thriving craft brewery. Putting the traditions and heritage that have been passed down into practice to create some really incredible beers. The hops, wheat, and barley is grown right on the farm and creates beer which is emboldened with the unique character of rural Canada. The renovated century old barns house the equipment, and planted hops and malting barley grows in the surrounding fields. Every summer they host Back to the Farm, a beer and music festival featuring craft beer, tours, food trucks, games and of course great music. Weekends you’ll find Old (Texas) Style BBQ set up.
