Modern Flat with Patio in Historic Jewish Quarter

This apartment is located in the old Jewish quarter called Olival, a very interesting neighbourhood from a historical viewpoint. The building was built at the beginning of the 19th century and, over the years, has been renovated with all modern amenities, while keeping the original character. This is a vey typical neighbourhood. You will meet the locals, the most picturesque people in town; they are very welcoming and joyous and fill the streets with their typical language and sincere generosity. Wander through the narrow streets and steep stairways in this area, have lunch in the restaurant “Caraças” (cheap and very typical) and visit the renovated cafés and shops in town. If you like walking, go down the narrow streets which you lead you to the river, hire a bike and cycle down to the seafront, where you will find wonderful beaches and esplanades for all tastes. This apartment is on the first floor, has a patio at the back and is extremely comfortable and quiet. It is very well located: 5 minute walk from the main bus stops and 10 minutes away from the metro; it is very near to the hectic nightlife of the city, where music is everywhere and streets become full of people. But Porto is much more than is historic Center; here you will find modern museums, amazing beaches and surf all the year. In a study from the World Economic Forum (The Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report 2013) Portugal is scored in the 7th world position of the countries that best receive tourists – I definitely confirm!!
