Quiet, central access and step-free on the first floor

The house - on a quiet footpath on the edge of the pedestrian zone - cannot be reached directly by car. Parking there is therefore not possible. A "green" bridge leads to the floor-heated apartment without steps. All rooms - the bedrooms have laminate floors, the others are tiled - have natural light. The terrace - facing south and with umbrella - allows for outdoor breakfast in summer, for example. For children there is a beautiful playground about 80 m away.

A separate entrance and your own terace make you forget about everyday life in peace. The apartment is fully equipped with private bathroom (shower, toilet), kitchenette, dining table, double bed and a small sofa. In the terrace there is seating furniture and a fire bowl can be provided.

The apartment is quietly located on the outskirts of Schmalkalden, it is the starting point for hiking and cycling trips or for exploring the old town. The guest apartment is on the ground floor of a listed half-timbered house, the former Obermühle in Kaufungen. The house is quietly located in the old town center on the river "Losse" , directly on the hiking trails of the Kaufunger Waldes and below the collegiate church. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops and practices of the town center, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the tram.
