We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. Our cozy, comfortable space makes for a great base to explore the mountains around the region. During winter, we offer private ski/snowboarding lessons, and side and backcountry guiding. We cater to guests during all other seasons too and offer fine dining experiences during your stay. We aim to create the perfect vacation experience for you!

Twin room for two (or 3 w/extra bed). Can be one Queen bed if staying more than 2 nights and requested in advance. Free wifi, coffee/tea, simple breakfast included. Spacious lounge with 60" TV & dining area to share, guest kitchen is free to use. Shared bathroom (toilets for men and women, bath can be used privately). 20 minute uphill walk to the ski hill and main street. Pick-up @Myoko Kogen station or Akakura bus stop depending on timing and staff availability. Car must be 4WD in winter.

Our place is located near by a quiet forest in the area of National Park, and you will see the panoramatic view of Mt.Myoko and Mt.Kurohime from here. There are numerous hot springs and the famous tourist spots which are called Imori Pond and Naena Falls that are representing Myokokogen. Also, there are many unique ski resorts that are rich in density so you’ll be able to have a lot choice for your winter activities depends on your mood and the snow conditions of the day.

Access to 4 chairlifts within 100 metres. Private licensed bar and billiards room within accommodation. Use of chalet including dining, laundry, drying rooms, wifi etc. Kitchenette - kettle, toaster, pizza oven, microwave provided in dining room. Chalet host will help you with organising equipment hire and restaurant suggestions. Ski in ski out to both Cortina and Norikura. Amazing location! Available for one person or large groups. Classic Japanese Room

This room is a Japanese Tatami room with comfortable futon beds. The room is Slope-side with south-easterly facing and receives good sunlight. Extra futons can be added with up to 3 people able to stay. Experience the real comforts of Japanese hospitality with our comforting and relaxing guidance. Extra costs per person for larger groups. Hakuba Powder Lodge - Double Room A

Hakuba Powder Lodging is located directly between Happo-One and Hakuba Goryu/47, two of the area's finest resorts. The views from Hakuba Powder Lodging's rooms are some of the best in the valley, and the people who work and stay here create a warm, happy environment. Double room with a shared bathroom. Large common space the largest in the Valley. 3 woodstoves keep our lodge toasty warm.

Penke Panke Lodge - Twin room w breakfast and BBQ.

Penke Panke Lodge is a well equipped nature lodge located in the scenic upper Wadano at the base of Happoone ski resort. Enjoy nature but without loosing all the modern comforts of home. We have complimentary bikes and rafts to take the lake and you can enjoy a evening BBQ for only 2,000 yen to help us cover the cost of the coals or gas and the time to clean the grill.
