Delightful newly renovated cottage with cozy wood burning stove. In the heart of stunning medieval village, Quiet location but short walk to the butcher, restaurant and tabac/bar. 5 mins drive to Montignac and the Lascaux caves and beautiful villages of thé Dordogne valley. Canoeing easily accessible. Review from Allison: Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful house, everything you need for your stay. Lovely area with plenty to do and see. With bathing facilities on the river La Dronne lies Le Petit Garcon a charming holiday home. 1.5 hour drive to the Atlantic coast. Excellent wineyards in Pomerol and St Emilion on a 30 min drive. Hiking, golf, tennis, horse riding and cycling. 2 major bathing areas at the bicycle distance from the house. 2 minute walk to the local bakery and restaurants. The house offers a nice garden, several nice patios. Perfect for a family/group of 7-9.
