We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter and 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens and Poinsett State Park. Our simple, unique (octagonal) cottage is ready for you to enjoy as you take in the serenity of Lake Murray! Have a meal on the spacious deck, go swimming/fishing from the dock, or just relax and observe the many fish, turtles and birds that live in this quiet cove. Our boat is on one side of the dock, and you’re welcome to use the other side for yours. There is a public boat ramp less than a mile away. Siesta Cove is the next cove over and has a general store and gas pumps for your boat.

The cottage is in downtown Summerville's Historic District. It is 1.5 blocks from Main St. behind a Victorian home built in 1890. The cottage is very comfortable and cozy with a queen size bed, sofa, easy chairs and fast internet. The bathroom is roomy with handicapped railings beside the commode and bathtub. A skylight provides light even on cloudy days. There are plants in the cottage and lots of artwork. Restaurants and entertainment are within walking distance. Ceilings are 9 feet.
