The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these cosy wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts are an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Caravan On The Croft

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

Taigh Morangie

Taigh Morangie translates to “Peaceful House” from Gaelic and the name suits the house perfectly. Stunning views from all windows, over the lochs at the front and back of the house, as well as over the three hills of South Uist. White sandy beaches two minutes drive from the house. Outside storage for bikes. Dogs welcome. 20 minute drive from Lochboisdale ferry terminal, 45 minutes from Lochmaddy. 30 minutes to Benbecula & airport. 3 night minimum stay in summer.

Granny Mary's Cottage

Granny Mary's cottage is a tradional croft house situated in North West Skye, enjoying uninterrupted views to Dunvegan Head, Loch Pooltiel and the Western Isles. This cottage has a double bedroom and a twin and has a cosy living room to spend your time watching the wildlife from or just relaxing with a book . The house is located in Milovaig and is within the popular Glendale area of Skye with local amenities, village shop & post office and excellent cafe.

Newly converted one bedroom stone built chalet renovated to very high standard. Bedroom can be either twin or king size with additional double sofa bed in living area. Beautiful open plan kitchen , living room and dining room with decking leading from patio doors. Local shop 5 minute walk. Westford Inn and Claddach Kirkibost Cafe 3 miles away to the south. Balranald Bird Reserve 3 miles to the north. Beautiful, sandy beaches nearby.

A one bedroom cottage with all modern facilities, Freeview TV, Wi Fi dongle, Induction hob, washer dryer, electric heating , shower and bath tub. A traditional thatched cottage with a tasteful modern interior. Perfect for couples or lone travellers, only a 5 minute drive from the beach, 5-10 minute drive to shop and hotel restaurants/cafes. A stunning newly renovated luxury holiday home, It is ideally suited for a family or couples. Located near Castlebay the house is less than a mile from the ferry terminal, shops and hotels and only a 5 minute walk to the island’s main super market.
