The strawbale studio.

The self contained studio is located behind the main house on a private two hectare section. It’s an open plan strawbale construction with a double bedroom hidden behind sliding wooden shuttered doors. The studio was designed for passive solar heating, with a concrete floor and large double glazed windows in the living space. There are blinds in the bathroom and bedroom, but the living space does not contain any window furnishings as this would defeat the purpose of the passive solar concept.

Great views, free parking, 10 mins from the airport/the city. Bus stop near. Seals and dolphins sometimes sighted outside. 3 Bedrooms with a modern but classic feel. Curtains have been installed since the photos. Please let me know if you require anything specific. Re beds - there is a king, queen and a single. Re pets - some pets might be ok at the property including some dogs but it will not be suitable for other dogs or cats (small patio, no back yard, no pet doors, not fenced).

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric heater and the TV is a smart TV and has Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

1. One queen-sized bed with 2 singles that become a couch. 2. Kitchen 3. Shower cubicle and seperate toilet with hand basin. The house was built in 1965. Location 15 min walk to the railway station. Kapiti Line Close to Kenepuru 20 - 30 mins drive to Wellington, A quiet, leafy suburb with shops close by. Lie in bed and watch the plants grow. While the space is one level there is a step onto the area and a lip (small wooden barrier) into the shower.
