Learn to mix cocktails with Southern French flavors in Zitto Speakeasy, a swank cocktail bar hidden in the heart of Nice. • Once you find your way to the speakeasy—we'll give you directions!—I'll welcome you to the bar and share a little about the American Prohibition-era bars that inspired it. • I'll walk you through some of the basic principles of composing cocktails, and you'll get acquainted with regional alcool & cocktails tips • Take a turn in the bar, sharing essential techniques like shaking, stirring, and balancing flavors. We'll conclude by sipping a cocktail and sharing tasting notes and questions.

Hand embroidery workshop on vintage French fabrics

Give vintage fabrics new life by stitching contemporary and minimalist designs on them. Join a textile designer for a one-hour embroidery workshop at Œuvres Sensibles, my studio and showroom. • I’ll begin by sharing a little about my own artistic journey, walking with you through the showroom, and describing the history of textiles in Marseille. • Select a piece of antique fabric from my collection, and I’ll supply you with tools and threads. Then I or a member of my team will show you some of the essential stitching techniques we use. • Stitch your own minimalist embroidery piece. I’ll offer personalized tips and adjustments, ensuring you feel comfortable with this creative process. Once we’re done sewing, we’ll show each other the pieces we’ve created over a cup of tea. You’ll leave the workshop with a piece of beautiful, handcrafted embroidery you’ve made yourself!

During this one-hour workshop, you’ll learn to create cyanotypes, a photographic printing process that uses the power of sunlight to create ethereal blue prints. • You’ll meet me at my studio, where I’ll share a little bit about my own work as well as the history and process of making cyanotypes. • Next, you’ll make your own! You’ll select natural elements like leaves, flowers, and corals from my curated collection and arrange them on light-sensitive paper. • We’ll expose the designs to sunlight, then rinse the prints in water to reveal the stunning final artwork. I’ll help you frame your favorite piece in a wooden frame. This engaging activity is ideal for children and adults alike. As well known as Southern France is for olive oil, Maison Nicolas Alziari is the last artisanal olive oil mill in Nice. Join me for a tour and tasting of this local culinary treasure. • I’ll welcome you into our boutique and share a little about the history of Maison Alziari, which was founded in 1868. • Next, we’ll visit the traditional stone mill, where I’ll walk you through the olive oil production process from harvest to extraction. Depending on the time of year, you may see our master miller at work. • Then I’ll guide you through a tasting, helping you learn how to identify high-quality oils and identify the nuances between different cuvées (batches) of oil. We’ll snack on tapenade toasts as we go. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of traditional olive oils during this class and leave with a gift bag containing a small bottle of your favorite oil.

Private Photo Session in Provence

I propose you a private photo shoot experience in the heart of Provence in the village of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon on the edge of the famous lake of Sainte-Croix with turquoise-blue water. Alone, as a couple, with family or with friends, you will strike the pose under my photo lens within a sumptuous setting and capture your most beautiful moments. From mid-June to end of July it will be also possible to take some pictures in a lavender field just above the village. Moreover this is a private session (private group up to 4 people) and takes place in the great outdoors in an environment preserved from the crowd. I'm Nathalie Le Royer, art therapist and artist at Atelier la Vie en Couleur since 2013, I'm offering you a lovely creative moment in my painting studio. All public. In the authentic hamlet SAINT-JURSON, you will discover a unique, charming place: the workshop and the garden of a small 17th century stone Provencal Bastide, conducive to inspiration with its superb view of nature. I provide you with the equipment, easel, pastels, drawing paper, etc..., and introduce you to oil painting/pastel technique, regardless of your experience in drawing. You are guided step-by-step in a personalized way. You'll learn how to blend the colors together, create volumes... Used by the greatest painters (Bonnard, Degas, Picasso), we get a rendering comparable to oil painting. If the weather is nice, we will place the easels on the terrace, facing the superb view if not inside the artist's studio. You will start a table of your choice that you will enjoy taking home and maybe continue if the passion you have earned. The goal is to test the material. We'll meet outside the entrance of Cannes Mairie, then wander through the old port with all the beautiful large boats and finish at the beach. Our session will be 1hr and 7 days after the shoot, I will send you 10 professionally edited, high res images via a private online gallery. My aim is to capture natural yet beautiful portraits of you to document your visit to the French Riviera perfectly. This private photo session is perfect for friends, family, couples, engagements or any special occasion. Basic editing is included such as colour correction, exposure, contrast and shadows and highlights. Body retouching and RAW files are not included. Please note that the price is per person and decreases according to the number of people. My shoots are very relaxed and fun, so please come with your best smile and favourite outfit. We will be walking, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and not carrying anything heavy! I cover all areas in the Riviera, so if you want to do your photo shoot in any of the other stunning villages then just ask!
